A solar tower

Soluxium Technologies

The challenge

To build a 37-foot-high tower without external bracing (steel cables) and come up with a mechanical design able to withstand extreme temperatures.

In other words, a tower designed for both Alaska and the Sahara Desert.

The solution

Manufacturing an extrusion entirely dedicated to this construction. The elaborate extrusion was able to retain the solar panels and maintain rigidity when subjected to significant lateral forces such as strong winds. The base of the tower included a ventilated compartment for house batteries and electrical circuits as well as a remote-controlled lock, leaving no appendage to the front of the base.

We build high power solar towers for world exportation, we target international markets with our product. Back when we first started, we needed support regarding the structure of our towers. Unisson came in and brought creative, simple, effective and inexpensive solutions.
